Well I finally got my airbags fitted, Firestone coilrites from AirBag man fitted by Macarthur 4x4, they should help with the weight of the fridge and drawers. Not to mention when the Jayco is hitched up.

Hey Bushman, looking good! You went for the right brand too.

Finally got the Sahara Bar fitted this week too. Really happy with it. :D

Hi Mike,

Although I believe that Firestone has a good set of airbags, I can't justify the extra AU$300 for the price. How did you justify spending the extra money?

Cheers,
Bobby

Hi Bobby

My Coil Rite airbags cost me $430 supplied and fitted by my local 4x4 place (the airbags themselves were $315). I thought that was a pretty good deal. Not sure what the ''extra $300'' you refer to is?

Cheers

My airlift 1000 kit cost me AUD$112 delivered to the door from 4x4parts.com in the USA and they took me 1 1/2hrs to install. They were on special at USD$69.95, haggled about the postage costs and the aus $ was a lot better 3 months ago!
